{"id":3330,"date":"2023-04-12T15:37:05","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T03:37:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/o.nash.org.nz\/?p=3330"},"modified":"2023-04-12T15:37:05","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T03:37:05","slug":"te-pou-mataaho-wananga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/o.nash.org.nz\/?p=3330","title":{"rendered":"Te Pou Mataaho W\u0101nanga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week our staff from both Ng\u0101ti Awa Social &amp; Health Services and Te Waipuna Ariki o Matangireia (ECE), took part in a 2 day w\u0101nanga, Te Pou Mataaho.<\/p>\n<p>Te Pou Mataaho is a strength-based framework of which our staff base their practice on.<\/p>\n<p>Te Pou Mataaho framework incorporates 4 Pou:<\/p>\n<p><em>Te Pou o Hineahuone \u2013 provides us with the knowledge of and connection between ourselves and others through our whakapapa.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Te Pou o Hinetitama \u2013 Turangawaewae is the place you call home, your connection through the whenua to your place of identity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Te Pou Ihorangi \u2013 represents the spiritual and cultural beginnings of wh\u0101nau originating from the spiritual creator known as Io Matuakore.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Te Pou Aot\u016broa \u2013 Te Aot\u016broa recognises the world around us and all of the influences both negative and positive that contribute to our development.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A big mihi to Wairaka Marae for their manaakitanga and sharing stories of the h\u012btori (history) and warmth of their Whare Tipuna \u2013 T\u0113nei te mihi!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3331\" src=\"http:\/\/o.nash.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/staff-photo-wananga-300x185.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"185\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week our staff from both Ng\u0101ti Awa Social &amp; Health Services and Te Waipuna Ariki o Matangireia (ECE), took part in a 2 day w\u0101nanga, Te Pou Mataaho.
